Welcome to the web site of Alaska artist Greg Bombeck. This site features Greg’s plein air and studio paintings and information on locations that a visiting artist or photographer might find useful. A 25 year Alaska resident, Greg has explored and painted many of the accessible and not so accessible areas in Southcentral Alaska. The scenes are generally off the beaten tourist path and often provide spectacular views. Travel prepared for any event, from rain to snow to bears.
Greg is the Executive Producer and Director of Plein Air, Painting the American Landscape, a six episode series on American plein air painting that aired nationwide on PBS.
